Pacific County Superior Court Clerk

The Pacific County Superior Court Clerk's office is located at 300 Memorial Drive in South Bend. The physical court address and the mailing address differ, so use the P.O. Box 67 address when sending documents or payments by mail. The general clerk email is clerk@co.pacific.wa.us.

Two staff members handle most records and copy requests. Lori Hobi can be reached at (360) 875-9320 or lhobi@co.pacific.wa.us. Shannon Pettit is also reachable at (360) 875-9320 or spettit@co.pacific.wa.us. Either staff member can help with case lookups, document copy requests, and filing questions.

The clerk files and indexes all Superior Court documents. That covers civil lawsuits, domestic relations filings, probate cases, guardianship proceedings, and protection order requests. The case number assigned at filing stays with the case throughout its life in the court system.

Note that document requests received after 3:00 PM are processed the next business day. If you need a record quickly, call or email early in the day to allow time for processing. The office does not process requests on weekends or holidays.

How to Search Pacific County Civil Court Records

You can look up Pacific County civil cases using two state-run online tools. These are free to use for basic searches and do not require registration.

  • Washington Courts Public Search: dw.courts.wa.gov - the statewide case index. Search by party name or case number. Covers both Superior and District Court cases across Washington.
  • Odyssey Portal: odysseyportal.courts.wa.gov - search public case information by name, case number, or attorney name.

Subscription remote access: Pacific County offers registered users access to the Odyssey Portal with deeper document-level access. To register, you must submit a Master Registration Form and a Subscription Agreement. An annual fee is required. Send completed forms by mail to P.O. Box 67, South Bend, WA 98586, or email them to clerk@co.pacific.wa.us. Processing takes 5 to 10 business days after the clerk receives your forms and payment.

Online payment for document requests is available through Point and Pay. This is the preferred payment method for emailed document copies. Certified copies cannot be emailed and must be sent by mail or picked up in person.

Public access is also available at the courthouse during regular business hours. In-person visits are best for expedited requests or when you need to review a large case file. Staff can assist with searches if you have a name or case number to start with.
